The Richland series brings to the table reliable, approachable wines that consistently over-deliver. Calabria strive to capture the essence of the variety and include within the series traditional varieties and also wines made from interesting, newer varieties to Australia. Richland Merlot is deep garnet with red hues. A soft, supple red with a fruit driven bouquet of ripe, cherry, plum and violet with cedar overtones. The flavoursome palate of plum and sweet fruit blend nicely with vanillin oak. This is a delightful, medium weight wine which finishes long with soft, firm tannins.
